    Wow! What beautiful pieces of art and utility that most certainly took a boatload of time--just unsewing alone, let alone resewing. The colors are so crisp. I love both sides of the big one, but I prefer (like you) the reverse. How kind of you to redo this UFO for not just 1, but 3 people.

    It's so sad that the family wanted nothing to do with the quilt, but what you have done is absolutely incredible those quilts are beautiful even if they are made from polyester fabric. You should be very proud of yourself and the gift you have created for your friend.
