Default Friend' Judy Niemeyer quilt

I quilted this for a friend--it was one of her first Judy Niemeyer quilts and since then she's taken several classes on her patterns and is a pro at them--but this one had some open seams, etc. She also did not want too heavy of quilting as for her SIL . I had it for about a month before I could start it and glad I re-emailed her (she's out of town) before I did because I would have probably done much more dense quilting otherwise. Also, while she was thinking one thread color (white), the blue had some reasons for needing a blue thread and a good fill--so I settled on all-over stars for it.

I am in love with the sharp points of the red fabric in the sashing. That is quite an effect. You and your friend make a great team in quilt creation. Beautiful!
