The Clam Shell quilt--- I downloaded a pattern from the internet (can't remember where). I had a hard time finding what I wanted. It was large so I took it to the library and made different sizes. I decided on a three inch size and made a template. I cut some out using my template and started sewing them together. I sew by hand so I folded the outie to get the middle and I folded the innie to get the middle. I pinned together so that the just half of it is sewn together from the center to the edge. I just kept adding them and after awhile I could sew into rows. It was fun to do and I am going to make another one soon. I don't know how to send a copy of the template or I would.

I, too, love the clam shell. Tried it once and gave up, maybe another attempt?

Sinceresissy..... So it is hand pieced. I know Sue Daley has a tute on it....thought maybe you had figured a way to machine piece. I do like EPP, so I may go that route...I also bought the large clamshell die for my GO.......will have to check YouTube for some how to....

Love the clam shell pattern. I want to make another one. Easier than I thought they would be.
