    Very well done. As far as the quilting, just do what you want. It doesn't matter whether you hand quilt or machine quilt. Machine quilting is faster.

    Great job!

    As far as quilting, it's just personal preference. Hand quilting isn't hard. It takes longer, but many people (myself included ;-) ) really enjoy the process of hand quilting.

    Be sure to post pictures when it's all done! :)

    Wow! very impressive for a first quilt. Since my quilting of choice is by hand I would say do by hand....but, first I would make a 20" quilt sandwich and try by hand to see if that is really something you enjoy. You either love it or hate it. If not...machine quilt, by all means. There is no rule you must follow.

    Beautiful job, great border. Both hand quilting and machine quilting have their place. It would give you additional skills to try either one.
