What an interesting wall quilt! Love the colors and the quilting stitches. Lots of movement and pattern to enjoy. Nice work!

I'm still struggling with FMQ (which sure would have worked fine for this quilt), and I didn't want to take all the time to hand-quilt it (what I've previously done with wall hangings), so I decided to try some straight lines this time!

Outstanding....take a bow! I love the color fabrics you chose. The pattern name is a fun one....Frost in the air!
Your quilting is lovely....is it walking foot or free-motion?

I'm still not great at free motion, so I didn't want to "practice" on a wallhanging (did that on the last baby quilt...). To be honest, I didn't even use the walking foot but the standard foot from by Bernina 801 (vintage). Maybe I should try again with the walking foot, but the one I have is not the original but a cheap generic and I don't like it all that much (it feels to me that it doesn't make that great of a difference to just using the "normal" foot but is so much hassle to fit on the machine...)

I agree that the colors are fabulous. Not ones you would think to use together but they do play nicely with one another. Enjoy your beautiful wall hanging!
