Thumbs up Fruity bag and coin purse

I made these a few days ago so that is 2 projects done and I don't know how many more to go. Lots of UFO's to do. Any way, the bag is a pattern I found at a yard sale recently and it is large enough for all my meds and the pocket on the outside is a perfect place to put my med lists and appt slips and so on. The coin purse is a pattern from the Amy Butler book called Style Stitches, 12 ways to 26 bags. It was that book I had lost and hunted for and found it when I was looking for some thing else. Now isn't that usually the case??? Well any way, enjoy, Huggies, Fay

Very nice. I love how you've matched up the fabric; so the eye sees the whole image of the fruits. That coin purse is nifty. Was the book pretty good...cool patterns, etc?
I've been to Port Angeles, took the ferry to Victoria. Stayed at some hotel called Ribbon or something (they stressed "no smoking") does this make any sense to you?

I know of the Empress Hotel in Victoria. Only been there a couple of times when I was in my early 20's I'm in my 60's now so that was a long time ago so it seems. It is just a 35 minute ferry ride over there as far as I know from here. I live right in walking distance of town and can walk to town and I enjoy it once inna while. Most of the times I just stay home and horse around. The book is pretty good. I has an envelope in the back of the book with the pattern pieces in it and it is a $40.00 book that I bought at the Joann Fabrics a couple of years ago. Last year for Christmas I made 2 of my nieces a check book cover and they both turned out pretty good. There are a lot of nice clutch purses and other big purses I would like to try making. WEll going to hit the sack now so every one take care, HUggies, Fay

Would you be willing to share the title/author of the book?
