    ok Here is what I did with some scraps for the string and a Bow Tie block I have been doing. I put the "string' one on like they had in the Fun & Done video. The Bow Tie block was already made so I just handquilted it to the batting and backing. I cut the back an inch bigger than my 12 inch block all the way around (14 inch block!)

    I can do better but was in a hurry to get this so I could show!!! :D

    What lovely fun & done blocks that you have already made. They look really great!! :D :D :D I am also looking forward to making them, when my pattern gets here.

    I watched the fun and done video and thought it looked like so much fun I had to be me and think outside the box, so I went to the dollar store and found a square picture frame. It will make a 5 inch block. I thought heck I want to try this and this will work just fine so here is a picture of the frame I bought to use as a template

    Love the blocks ! Keep up the GREAT job ! :lol: Can't wait to see more.. and as for the picture frame suggestion.. Thanks I would never have thought of that :lol:
