    Nice way to make a quick top! I know it's 2 1/2" strips but how long are each ones to cut?
    Perfect for those Linus projects. Thanks for sharing.

    you just sew 2 wof 2.5 inch strips together and the sub-cut into 4.5 inch squares. There are 9 of the 4.5 inch squares in each block

    Very nice. Although it may be too late for this time, but as to the stash busting aspect of things maybe next time you get the urge you could cut several extra 2.5" strips and be ready for more spur of the moment quick projects.
