    I too love the kaleidoscope piece but I really love the first one with the birds! What a great design using that material. I am going to keep that one in mind since I have bird fabric.

    Make a mylar template with the Dresden ruler. You can make any size you like. To make the fussy cut draw some of the lines on the template for easy placement for each piece.

    LOL - My machine is a 100001 Janome and it has its mileage and been good to me. I also have a 1953 Singer Featherweight that I just love.
