I think I'm going to do the concentric squares (or maybe make them diamonds, not sure yet). But, I have a stupid question.
In order to do squares like that on the machine, I would have to start and stop each square. Is there a preferred, or better way to do that?? Normally I stitch back a little, do my quilting, then when I get to the end I stitch backwards a little again. No big deal when it's hiding in a ditch or something, but would that look weird in the middle of the quilt? Or am I being silly and this is something no one but me would notice??

quilting finished... I ended up doing a diamond crosshatch sort of thing. I think it turned out cool. I'm working on the binding now - I'm doing a pieced binding, so it'll take a bit. I'll post a new picture when I'm done!! Thanks for all the help everyone!! :) ~Isabel
