Hi DreamXer- my niece is learning how to quilt. She is working out of town 4 days a week, so a lot of what we do is through email and voicemails. She has been wanting to make a quilt but 'scared' at the thought of actually putting it together. We had a party at the house last weekend and so I thought if she could look and touch an example, she might dive in better. So that is why my quilt became such a rush job. I had to beg our huge dog to stay off that couch and leave the quilt alone so that Karen could see it :):):) yup.... dog biscuits and fruit loops did the trick :):)

Oh Cathy you are sooooo evil!!!!! You didnt want to get her hooked just on the merits of quilting alone lol, you decided if she could "just" look and touch!!! lol that she would be so hooked. You've created another fabric-holic i bet!!!!! LOL LOL LOL

That is gorgeous! I am in love with that! The fabric, the COLORS, and the simplicity of the pattern... all just works together for a fabulous quilt!
