Fussy Cut Mariners Compass Table Topper
Just finished this table topper for the Craft Fair season. This is my first attempt at this pattern and I'm fairly happy with the results though I had a little trouble matching the center final two peices. I'll know better how to do it on the next one... It is from Ann S. Lainhart's book Fussy Cut Mariner's Compass.

Wow! That is stunning! My DD wants me to make her one of these soooooo bad but I'm not even a fraction as talented as you are, so she's just going to have to keep wishing... LOL! This is fabulous & you should be super proud of yourself! Great job!!!

Thanks Rebecca but it wasn't as hard as it looks. The instructions in the book are quite straight forward and the compass itself is only three different pieces - 8 primary point, 8 secondary point & 16 background pieces. You do have to set in the background pieces (after they are sewn to the secondary points) but it's not too bad... Check out the book if you get a chance.
