You are to be commended on your persistence as well as your wonderful workmanship. There must have been times when it felt as though there was no end to the project. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. Joyce in DE

A great finish! I'm still working on mine and won't tell you how long I've been at it!

    Congratulations! on your FWS finish
... a great mix of fabrics and your B+W sashings, cornerstones and border pulls it all nicely together.

TY. no, a year, isn't all that long. and I pretty much took the summer off to garden and can. about nov lst, I think I had 25 blocks to go, so got busy, and just worked along on it. ladies don't be bashful about starting this. yahoo had a group who was giving out PP patterns. I joined that. along with purchasing the book. 'one block' at a time was my motto. and I am retired, so I used to tell myself 'l a day' at least. I stopped my bonnie hunter's celtic solstice quilt to sew the sashings. and I decided to do it with the brown, to 'just get done'. PP is so easy and so accurate, it is a great method for beginners.

It reminds me of a light colored Persian rug. That's how nice it is and it's a treasure.
