Gaigai sent me her International Round Robin II quilt top to quilt for her. She wanted something soft and even thru the quilt to go with her theme. This pantograph is called "ground cover" and is comprised of leaves. I used a free hand meandering to offset her center. The contracting thread on the back really help the design to pop.

I didn't see this one while it was in the IRR. How did I miss it? It's absolutely gorgeous! Gaigai - did you save fabric and do the last border yourself, or did the last person find it? Amazing. Using OBW in one of the borders was a stroke of genius. Also amazing that someone had some of the original flowers for one of the other borders and appliqued a few of them. It makes the whole quilt look planned from the start! I'm well and truly blown away by the whole IRR group!

OK, I sort of have an idea what IRR means, just from the comments, but what does it really stand for?
