game quilt
I made a game/picnic quilt, and what fun they are to make!
The front is for checkers, the back you can play either connect 4 or tic tac toe. I simply made binding strips and sewed them down for the connect 4 grid. I took a corner in that grid and sewed decorative stitches in a contrasting color to mark out part of the grid for tic tac toe.
For the first time I ventured past stitching in the ditch and made wavy lines all over. It was a great learning project for me. Sorry for the horrible pics, specially of the back. The grid shows up much better in real life.
