    Several years ago someone gave me all the pieces for these blocks and I put them together and donated it to our church and it was sold for $150.00. Yours is so pretty and you did a good job.

    Beautiful quilt!! And a real bargain. I love the old fashioned dressed ladies. I have two sets of pillowcases that my aunt did for me with that pattern. She's gone now, so I really cherish them.

    That is the same pattern I started making when I was 14 (many, many, many years ago). All hand appliqued and I have done a black blanket stitch (also by hand) around the lady. I have four out of 12 blocks done. I may finish it yet. I will quilt it by hand once the top is finished.
