    My neighborhood had a community garage sale. I was driving by just to see what people had for sale.

    I drove by this one house, an elderly couple. I saw the quilt draped over a table, asked if it was for sale they said yes, "name your price". I asked the lady if she had made it she said no, some ladies she knew made it and it was hand sewn/quilted. Her husband said, you can have it for $20.00, we had it for $40. early this morning.

    I couldn't pass it up!!!

    Wow, if he only new what went into that quilt :shock: You got a wonerful deal, happy to see it found a loving home. :P

    I told my kids that I roughly guesstimate that it would be around $180. That would be my take due to time and material invested. Your opinions are appreciated!!
