garage sale treasure!

She wanted 150.00 but when I plugged her in I couldn't make her go. I think grease was all dry from storage. She then said I could use it for a decoration. While she is pretty, I wasn't interested in a featherweight decoration so I talked her down to 75.00. Took her straight to be serviced, which cost 137.00 so I got her for 212.00. I knew it would cost me but I still couldn't leave her there.

You can go onto the Singer website and put in the serial number and find out exactly when that beauty was born. The serial number is on the bottom of the machine. There is I believe a letter or two and then some numbers.
Those machines are just too cute to pass up.
