I like your old fashioned looking quilt. Especially the pattern. I have been looking for a pattern to make of a horse fabric that I have for a granddaughter. This one could be variable enough for me to use. The horse fabric center block has to be at least 7 or 8 inches and I can adjust this block to be just perfect! Thanks for sharing with us.

A pretty quilt, brings to mind a cosy granny's cottage, hot toasts and teapot full of something fragrant

Sometimes just finishing provides the best feelings. I always consider those "oopes" in judgement to be lessons learned. Bask in the finish and travel on to your next project.

Wasn't necessarily an oops in judgement. When you own a shop, you have to make samples of the fabrics when they come in. We were a huge Thimbleberries club shop and brought in all the lines....some we liked more than others.

So true! Lovely use of color. The ability to make something with fabric you don't really care for is the mark of a good quilt designer IMHO. Invaluable when using donated fabric for charity quilts.
