    Several years ago a friend made this pattern (garden maze) in exquisite Japanese fabrics. Her proportions were different, but the basic pattern was the same.

    When a friend gave me some really nice fabrics to use for charity quilts, I realized I would like this pattern, as the theme fabric would not be chopped up. I paper pieced the corner stones.
