    Wow she did great work!! She will have a hobby for life!! How wonderful to have agrandma who can quilt it for her!! I bet she's itching to quilt it too!! Do you have a long-arm??

    That is a wonderful quilt. I hope she gets a blue ribbon for it. My daughter learned to sew when she was about eight years old, doing a sewing project so she could go to 4-H camp that summer. She will soon by 46 years old and still sews for herself and for others. However, I don't think she's made any quilts though. I think when her sons are grown and she quits work she will probably take on quilting. She's a lot like me, she'll try anything.
