Default GD's quilt finally finished

My Granddaughter made this quilt about 2+years ago. I have had it to quilt forever, shameful as that seems. My excuses are health issues, travel, and a 15 month remodel that I could not get to the long arm. Anyway, I finally got it finished and she was so excited when I took it over. She is 9 now. She chose the fabrics and placed them. I ripped 5 seams in the entire quilt which is many less than I do on my own quilts. Anyway, I am so proud of her.

Wow that beautiful, happy young lady put together that quilt. I am so impressed and in awe that she did this 2+ years ago. She has a talent.

She did a great job on it. She needs to make more quilts. A natural talent.

There is NOTHING BETTER than a family member being so excited about receiving a quilt that was made especially for them.
