I love the gender neutrals because they go with everything! So many parents are not into matchy matchy things and then there are parents who want everything to match. These gender neutral colors go with every color and every decor.

I usually stick to primary colors when I make a baby quilt. Although I want baby and parents to like the finished quilt, I want to love it while I am making it.

I think the quilt is lovely and since we chose not to find out the genders of our children we had gender neutral decor and newborn items. Didn't realize that was considered bad these days lol. It wasn't so long ago that everyone had a surprise and the trend is coming back as well: I have three pregnant coworkers and 2 of them are having surprises.
