I hadn't thought about it being patriotic!!! :D It actually is two different tan/cream colors, three different blues, and then the burgundy.
His SO's birthday is on July 4th, so I might do the same fabrics, in a different pattern, for her!!

Hey Diana, I'm a girl...and I reeeeeallly like the colors too!! You did such a fantastic job piecing and quilting and wow!! Great job! You make beautiful quilts and handsome kids you go girl!!! You're such a talented thang you are!! :D :thumbup:
