Perfect stance for a GS Pointer. I love the quilt but then I grew up with a GS Pointer named Lady. My Dad hunted birds with her and she was a family pet. He rescued her from being chained in the back lot of some guys house at about 1 or 2 years old. Once he got her, we had quail and pheasant whenever they were in season. Mostly though my Dad loved to walk the woods with her. You brought back so many fond memories for me. Thanks and again, I love this quilt.

I LOVE IT! We have an English Pointer - v similar breed. They can be black and white or liver and white with similar marking and ticking as the German. Their body styles are also much the same. You captured the stance so well and I love the fabric you used. My avatar is from a quilt I made my youngest daughter. It is our pointer. I can't wait to show her your wall hanging.
