My dear - that is organization!!!! Best be quilting and sewing than organizing any further. LOL. Doubt the fabric boards will help, as they take up room also, however, a definite advantage for searching. JMO. Silvia

love your sewing space..wish my space was as large and well stocked as yours! I also Wish my husband was as organised as you in his shed! I am the obsessive compulsive one that likes order so I clean out his shed as well!

Smaller yardages are in plastic bins, along with jelly rolls and layer cakes.

Towards the back of the room you can see my sewing machine on the tables in the foreground, and my embroidery machine on the table in against the back wall. It feels good to be organized!

So, show us pics of your room, too. I always like seeing how others organize their workspace.
Wow is all I can say, all that space. nice job.

I noticed that you had lights above your fabrics. You might want to cover the fabrics from the light source as they will fade the fabrics very quickly especially the darker colors. I know as it happened to me. I now have a piece of muslin over the area where I store mine. However, I wish mine looked as organized as yours.

I don't normally have the lights on over the fabric area for just the reason you noted. Don't want them fading! When working in the room I just have the lights on in that sewing area in the back.

I'm sitting here wondering what I would do to have a sewing room like that. I came up with "JUST ABOUT ANYTHING".
