Hi Everyone! I've looked at the "Yellow in your Quilts???" thread so many times that I'm really liking yellow now! Thanks to all of you who submitted pictures of your lovely quilts!

I've started making yellow projects to instill this new 'color love' deeply in my brain. :D The first one is a potato bag made with yellow fabric with a coordinating accent fabric at the opening. I really did try to make this bag square - REALLY!!! I went out and got cotton thread so that the entire project is cotton.

I also need to learn FMQ so I've meandered around on the fabric to practice. It didn't turn out too bad, did it? I did watch the Patsy Thompson videos for FMQ and they helped a lot. Anyway, this is my first real effort. Need more practice.

    Hope you like it!

Your free motion is wonderful. I like the yellow, it brightens up the quilt. I love bright colors anyway.
