    Beautiful quilt. I've been wanting to attempt a giant dahlia for years but I'm chicken! How hard is it?

    I work at Hancock Fabrics in Marion, IA (Cedar Rapids) & had the pleasure of waiting a customer yesterday doing this in yellows, ornages & red. Of course I love purple so this is great. It really is pretty. Congrats & thanks for sharing.

    Beautiful! I saw a similar design in American Patchwork & Quilting but don't have the nerve to make it yet. Maybe in a year or so.

    I bought the templates ago and made it in pinks. Everything was easy except the centre which ended up bumpy. Redid it again and turned out good. Yours certainly deserved a ribbon it is beautiful, congratulations.
