    Default Gift for a friend

A friend gave me a bag of goodies she found when going through her mother-in-law's belongings after she passed. There were 3 needle turn appliqué blocks. I had no idea what to do with them other than save them. Recently came across them, squared them up and made a bright table runner. I think I need to do a bit more quilting on the border Then will gift the finished piece to her and her hubby when we return to work.

What pretty blocks! I agree that the extra quilting will enhance this little beauty!

So cool. They have the look of Molas (sp) from South America. I like them very much. Isn't it nice to have a passed down UFO that you turn into a good memory.

The blocks are beautifully and enhanced just right with the yellow. Gifted it back to her in this way is so very special of you!
