    that's fantastic!

    but... sticking my nose in where it doesn't belong.... have you considered a border all around? Even a 4" border would make it big enough for a double bed throw and would 'frame in' the whole thing....

    Love the quilt. Sorry no ideas on the quilting. I would stay away from "in the ditch" quilting - it will get lost in the fabric and hand quilting is so time consuming (and beautiful) that you want it to show. Maybe browse some online quilt stencil catalogs for inspiration.
    What type of frame are you using to quilt?

    Outstanding, a border would give you more size unless you want it this size. Hand quilting is always good. I would use an all over simple design. :D
