You are doing a beautiful job, I think you have it down. I just figured it out on August doll quilt swap. It has taken me I think 6 months to do that. Keep up the great work. It looks like your a natural. Good bless.

The quilt looks lovely. I'm glad you kept the fabrics out of the sale.
I'm working my way through Leah's patterns too & like you choose the ones that flow in my mind. But rewind a bit - serging?? How do you get the seams to nestle & aren't they very stiff? I have a serger, in the attic, but never thought of using it for quilting.

You're pulling my leg . . . this is a practice quilt? No way! This is one fabulous quilt example. How wonderful that you are practicing Leah Day's free motion quilt patters (although I'm not yet convinced about that), and have a beautiful quilt to show for it. I really like the colored thread used in the quilting -- makes the FMQ stand out.
