    First of all thank you for this fabulous idea....I have all the ties my DH, now deceased, wore....a suit n' tie job....and just did not know what to do...now I do, but question....muslin base, washed first? Them cut into squares for foundation....I am thinking yes... Are you using a template for piece or just free hand cutting? Do a tute on process...I think it wil be welcomed....now to dig out those boxes of ties I have!

    Ties make great quilts, I made a king size one , took alot of work but worth it. yours looks like it will be very pretty.

    thanks for sharing, my hubby has many ties and he never wears them anymore.. I love the way you set them into the pattern, thanks
