Default this is going to be my men`s ties quilt

here is what I am working on.....I started this quilt years back ....I finally took it out and decided to finish it.....I noticed that I have made some progress in my work/piecing....I now use stabilizer on most of the ties which I didn`t do back then...makes such a difference...anyways I will post when I get it all done....I think it will be very nice ...can`t wait to finish

Are you only able to use a tie one time? Great looking quilt.

no actually , I can use about three pieces from each tie....I also cut them out the size I need...there is some waste but thy are all bought in flea markets and garage sales so I`m not too concerned about wasting a bit...I have boxes of ties...been collecting for quite a while....

I have started to sash them if you look closely in one of the photos, but that was done a while back...I might just change things around....not sure yet.....
