    Default Gold Twin Stars

Hello, here is my latest top for a Veteran. It's a 12 inch floating star, with cornerstone sashing and final border. My first time doing cornerstone sashing, too! I think it's a simple, easy to do pattern, but so dramatic in these colors. I am pleased how it came out and know the veteran that it is going to will love it too. They are so humble and we are the ones so grateful.

I absolutely adore your quilt. The simplicity of the pattern and the four colors of fabric repeated throughout just have stolen my heart. I have been a scrappy quilter most of my life and I think I yearn for something that is not scrappy every now and again. I made that star block a long while back and can easily find the pattern to make again. Thank you for the post and photo. A lovely QOV that is not the traditional RWB.
