Gonna be wearing red???
#24
No pattern, just used charm packs, put them down on our spare bed till I had them the way I wanted them sewed them in rows, and put the rows together. Usually about 4 across and 8 down, then add the same size lining. I tend to layer the three layers and birth like you would when sewing a pillow case, batting on the bottom, then outside of the purse faced up, then lining on top faced down, leave one end open to turn the pieces... the batting will then be in the center... then top stitch the last opening. If you do something like this, make any inside pockets on your lining before sewing the sides up, also quilt the long flat piece before you double to make it a bag, add handles and you are done. I box the bottoms like most purse patterns call for. One of these has a zipper top, the other only Velcro. Would have to add that I turned the tops down to the inside so the bag wasn't so deep, sometimes if the lining is really pretty I turn it to show on the outside. Have fun and do your own thing.Hope this helps.
