    It's fused, and then machine stitched with a blanket stitch on the edges. Here's a couple of closer pictures.

    I studied art for several years with local teachers when I was doing paintings in oils and watercolors. So I learned how to look at things and see colors that worked well together. I think that helped me a lot. For those interested, here's a few pics of some of my paintings.

    Yes, a blanket stitch set on the smallest width and length settings.

    Eddie - Sharon & I went to the show Saturday & saw both quilts. They are absolutely fabulous!! I especially liked the large wall hanging (NYB I think) in the Civil War fabrics. I am constantly amazed at the beautiful work you contimie to do. It was a great show & we really enjoyed it. Congrats on your wins - you are certainly deserving. KathyJ P.S. I also saw the Dresden plate from Anelie's class & it is beautiful also. We are wishing we had taken her class.
