    Since this is how you feel about it, how about appliquing some solid shapes to the top...maybe representing your trip...by the way, I like it as is..especially the way you have the brown based print as the inner border transitioning to the solid brown. Great job.

    Wish my Hawaiian shirts would mate like that. Personally I love it. I love bright colorful quilts and this one has several "sub patterns" in it that I also like. If you really don't like it, you could sell it as is. If you do decide to sell it let me know how much you want for it. Don't price it too high, afterall, you don't like it. LOLOL
    I'm just kidding about selling it, it's beautiful.

    let me add my votes.

    description hilarious!!!! :XD: :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:

    quilt: i see what you mean about the "busy". i would feel the same way if i had made it. BUT since i didn't, i'm like the rest of us are able to see what you can't. it does, in fact, look quite nice. i wouldn't change a thing.

    pick a binding fabric that pops. when you quilt it, use thread that contrasts and also pops. use the top as the stage set and background so the quilting becomes the lead character. when you're done, i'll bet you love the play. ;-)

    I like it! You did a great job. I, too made a quilt that I didn't like the way it turned out! Much too busy! That was years ago and I am still using it and enjoying it! Quilt it and enjoy a beautiful quilt!
