I bought fabric several months ago, and apparently I had a bit too much coffee and somehow thought they went together. I pieced together enough for a baby quilt/throw and decided I hated it. It looks like Hawaiian shirts mated and vomited out a little scrappy baby.

I took it out today and still hate it, but I added the border...and I'll eventually convince myself to sandwich it.

 On the bright side, I'm planning a vacation...and I won't have to worry about the quilt police yelling at me when I'm sitting on it on the beach.

    Destination Hawaii

I love your description, though I don't agree with it! Your quilt looks warm and cozy to me.

I love it. It is bright, but it is also coordinated. Very well done. :)

I saw the picture before I read your post and thought, "WOW! What a pretty quilt." I love those colors and you did a great job on the piecing. I think you're just too close to the project right. In any case, it will sure be a great beach blanket. And you can do whatever you like with your quilt, right? ;)
