Well I have been cooped up for a few days, unable to quilt due to a hand injury so I decided to find a local quilt shop here in Seneca SC. I hit the jackpot, they were having a sale. All the Christmas & fall at either 50 or 60% off. The foundation fabric was 60% off. s soon as I can quilt I have lots of projects.

Sounds like you had a fun day! Here in central Iowa we are getting snow AGAIN! The nice thing about hubby being retired is that I don't have to worry about him coming home in this weather.

Hey Myrna---great fabrics and great prices!!! I love Best Press---you are going to enjoy your variety pack. Let me know how you like that prairie braid foundation fabric. It looks like something I might want to try some time.

Our grandmothers used to quilt on muslin foundation pieces! Think they've been doing it for the last 100 yrs or so! I love using muslin (or you can use up an ugly piece of fabric you don't like as a base) as there is nothing to tear off like paper in the end! Can't wait for you to try this method and tell us how you like it!!!

    :D
