Got it done by the July 4th. It's a miracle.

Thanks all. The dimensions are 29 1/2" x 42 1/2". It was bigger but we had to trim it down because when sewing strips they are just never even. We were lucky because our red bandana and white stripe fabric was 60".
Actually, we had no pattern. One of the ladies saw a picture of this rag flag thrown over a chair on pinterest, so one of the ladies just looked at that picture and came up with our pattern. I know it isn't to scale but it is within reason. Stripes are all 3 1/2" wide. Seams are all 3/4". We used flannel as our batting, so after I washed and dried it twice, it is very soft. My daughter asked me why I didn't make it bigger because it was so cozy that it would be a great blanket. I just tossed it on my formal dining room table where I think it will stay a while since I will be hosting the 4th of July.
