Graduation Peace quilt
#1
My SIL called, needing a graduation quilt quilted ASAP, we all know how that feels.
I said come over Wednesday and we'll get it done as you wait.
Deb helped me with binding some quilts for Synette Mai a celebration here in Westby WI, for their quilt show.
what a great idea Deb had to put a huge Peace sign on the backing to make the quilt two sided. She cut the sign out of fabric and we placed it on the back of the quilt. (ok, not as easy as it sounds, I quilted the quilt on my Gammill, next I sewn on the binding with the Gammill, then I took it off the Gammill and re loaded it with the backing side UP.)
With the computer I was able to trace the pattern and then just let it sew around the peace sign. It looks awesome!

she ranks right up there, she's my sil, and she lives so far away I couldn't have wanted her to drive back to get it. It was a wonderful day and we enjoyed it!
