    This was done last winter for her May graduation - can you tell she played soccer? She just brought it back home b/c somehow got bleach on it - had to replace one black sashing strip - what a pain to de-quilt - had to sew it back in by hand. was weird b/c only the black bleached out - and the purple next to it was unfazed. also had to patch over the soccer balls on back as they bleached out. she has no idea how she got bleach on it but you know kids - even 23 year old ones!!!!

    Neat quilt and I bet she loves it!

    When you patched the back, did you play around with it to line of the design then applique?

    yea tried to line it up but soccer balls made me dizzy - sort of lined up itself as is so busy

    Really nice quilt! That's the first time I've seen a cross stitched label! What a great idea! :thumbup:
    It's great that she loves the quilt enough to use it, not hide it away.
