    Default Grammie's Rose Lattice

    I saw a tutorial by Eleanor Burns (Garden Lattice) and knew I had to have one. The fabric is called Heritage Collection, and the embroidery design is Inky Roses from Embroidery Library. The little beige strip has gold flecks in it so I appliqued the roses in gold metallic thread. My inspiration was an oil painting of pink roses by my mother in 1993. Thank you for looking.

    Thank you for the huge compliments! I also wanted to add a closeup picture of the applique so you can see the gold satin stitch. I took a lot of time with this project and probably will never make it again! haha!
