Love this one - love all I've done though. She was excited to get it and it really looks pretty on her. There was enough fabric left to make one for her 10 year sister which I hope to get done in the next two weeks to take up to Michelle when we make a quick trip back to IL early Oct.

As you'll see in the photos attached I put the ribbing back on and as you can see it's a good thing as Katie is tall. On the sleeves I did a quilt pattern in 3 sections and left part of the arms open so they'll breathe as I have on my other quilted jackets. Thank you. I've added the braid to all of the sweatshirts I've made this past year. My quilt chapter made them a year ago and the ladies were complaining at a guild meeting that theirs were too hot to wear. Well, we're in centra FL and don't quite need the warmth needed further north. I did the braid on mine and they are so nice and comfortable and I love wearing them all year round.
