What a gift you are giving. Wonderful memories for both of you and a skill she can use all her life. The world is truly a better place with people like you.

What wonderful memories your grandchildren will have for the rest of their lives. And on top of that they get to take home something they made which will keep those memories going and going and going.

Wow - what fun and what a pretty quilt - she did great!

I plan to do the same with my 11 year old granddaughter sometime in October. We are spending the weekend together (actually I am babysitting since her parents are going away for a few days)and I already have a machine ready for her. She has never used one so it should be interesting. Hopefully she will get the quilting bug too.

Great quilt! But even better than that is the time with your grand.

She did a great job! I love your tradition of having the grandchildren make a quilt and be able to take it home. Makes it extra special.

WOW! You did that fast. Did you 2 girls stay up all night quilting! Did your GD get bit by the quilt bug? The quilt looks beautiful! Not only did you make a quilt, you've made life-time memories!!
    Way to go, Grandma!
