What a talented young sewer. Thanks to Grandma for taking the time to spread the love of sewing to the younger generation. I hope my grand daughter, now 4, wants to learn some day and I think 8 or 9 is the perfect age. Congratulations to yours; she did a fabulous job!

That is so exciting! What a wonderful memories you both made. My grand children are still too young but one day I hope to do this too.

What a wonderful thing for both of you - your DGD went home with a quilt and backpack that you helped her make. I'm sure she will treasure the quilt, and she will always cherish the time you spent together. More importantly, you may have helped create a new budding quilter. How cool is that???

She did great and so did you for teaching her to sew. So many of us in our guild are older, and sure hope younger people will be growing up sewing and quilting.

You made my eyes water with this wonderful story of you and your granddaughter spending time together. It is just a plus that she will go home with a quilt and a backpack.
