    Default This grandma is so proud!
    My 9 yr old DGD is a beginning quilter. She wanted a wall hanging for her room that she could "pin stuff on". She made this top herself and I embroideried her name and quilted it for her. She did a great job!!! She chose the fabric herself and did most of the sewing too.

    She definitely has the makings of a great quilter! I hope she stays with it. She's got a good eye for color!

    Isn't it fun to play with you GD? They soak everything up like a sponge at this age. Wonderful job.
