    I made the quilt larger from a pattern in "Floral Quilts from Grandma's Cupboard" by Michelle Blackhurst from Leisure Arts. The squares are 17 in and are from pastels in polka dots, stripes and tiny checks. The pattern, "Grandma's Garden" called for 6 blocks, and I made 12 to make it queen size...it ended up 72 X 87, I think. To have enough appliques on the extra blocks, I used some of the flowers from the quilt called "Tulip Sampler." Both of these are in the book.
