Thanks guys. I don't even know why I bought that jelly roll. I am getting more daring in my old age. The pattern was really fun to do. There was an awful lot of cutting involved, and choosing where to put the colors to best advantage. I am trying to stretch myself to do things I wouldn't normally do. This will probably end up being a charity quilt at some point. I have about 6 or 7 ready to gift someone.

OOOOH! It's sewww pretty, I would definetly make a quilt like this. I was a kid growing up during the 50's & 60's, AND my mother made all mine and my sister's clothes too. I know what you mean that everything had to match, but not anymore and after seeing your quilt. It is really nice.
