    Default Grandma's Preserves

Just needed to do a little project to take a break from the longarm. I (like everyone else) have jars of buttons. These are antiques and this is a wonderful way to display and enjoy them. This little quilt measures 12 x 12

Very cute! I have a nice bunch of mother of pearl and jet buttons I should do something with.

Oh, I like that! Great quilted texture in the background is a nice contrast to the smooth jar and the buttons add another cool layer- nice art quilt.

That's terrific! I wish I'd seen that when my sis was offering a box of antique buttons!

Very clever! I have a jar of them too. Good wall decor for a sewing room!

That is so cute and a great idea. I love old buttons. I suppose most of us have a button jar!
